The region boasts the only intellectual property protected  variety of grape and is home to some of the most delicious organic wines of Spain. During this visit you will get to places only owners and workers can get access to and you will taste the best products of the province.

During this tour you will be able to talk to the people in charge of maintaining the tradition and quality of the Vinalopó grapes visiting their fields, speaking with the workers and tasting the delicious grapes (if visited during the season). Further, the visit will lead us to the beautiful Gaudi style church build up alongside the castle of the town from where we will walk down through the river side to the organic vineyards of Casa Cesilia.

The walk will lead us to one of the most well kept secrets of Novelda neighbours: a series of 3 natural medicinal water springs along the salty riverside daily visited by locals, with 5 times the proportion of salt than the sea water and also plenty of medicinal minerals like potassium or iron. These pools have been certified as medicinal by several scientific studies for a range of different skin problems.

Finally we will get to Casa Cesilia, a vineyard created in 1707 that has transformed itself in the last 50 years in an innovative organic venture for producing wines and table grape. Staff from the vineyard will guide us and tell us the secrets of the initiative finishing up with a wine taste of some of their best white, rose and red wines.
