Olive oil tasting with Antonio (Toni) 

During these days we offer you the possibility to enjoy an appetiser with Toni and his century’s years old olive trees discovering how is the day to day of an organic farmer in the valley and how good is his olive oil.

Stroll: the history

This valley has been shadped by multiple cultures some of which have settle down and some other that have completely vanished. This stroll heads towards the place where a peace traty was signed…the parties did not finally abide to it….in this stroll we explain the rich history of the region and the valley meanwhile walking up (50 min walking up) close to one of the two remaining Arab castles of the valley.

Tomato tasting with Evaristo

Evaristo cooks everyday paella or “arròs caldoso” for the whole family. He picks the ingredients from his vegetable garden and farm and cooks them in a very special way (with a rosemary touch) and a glass of red wine. This day you will see how traditional paella from the mountains is cooked meanwhile enjoying an appetiser with someone truly from the place.

Stroll: the villages

During this stroll we keep on discovering three of the villages of this astonishing valley, finding out the stories behind the doors, their architecture and some of their small hidden corners during a gentle stroll (flat easy stroll).

Stroll: the mountains

The valley is surrounded by two chains of mountains that provide the villages with a resourceful of hideaways, plants and exuberant limestone cliffs. This stroll is circular and head towards one of the most emblematic places of the mountains, the “Forada”. In the way we always speak about plants, the traditional trades and the idiosyncrasy of this unknown valley.

Other available experiences: massages, how to elaborate your traditional soap, … 

You can enjoy a variety of other experiences including a relaxing massage with local plants oils using the pinda technique (a wrap of medicinal plants used for massaging) or a workshop for elaborating your own traditional soap the way Alicia did it with her grandmother, tradicional recipes, and much more.
